UET Aggregate / Merit Formula

In Total Merit, calculate the 70% score for the intermediate/equivalent exam and the 30% score for the ECAT score. So to evaluate your totals or benefits, do the following:

MERIT = (0.7 x% for F.Sc/Equivalent) + (0.3 x% for ECAT)

* ECAT is very important along with the intermediate score, because if you don't get good grades in ECAT, then you can't get into good engineering. So, make every moment of your enrichment and be prepared.

*Students should be prepared for their FSC exam so they can easily prepare for the ECAT exam after that. ECAT is usually conducted in July, and registration begins 5 weeks before this. After the selection, the course will start in October.

1. How many points do I need to get UET admissions?

A: It all depends on the subject you choose. The sum of all subjects is given above. You can know how many points you need.

2. Do I need to try all the questions to pass the exam?

A: No, no need. You need to try the questions you identified. Any wrong answers will deduct your answer. Be careful when trying. Every ECAT is very important

3. Where does ECAT come from?

A: ECAT comes entirely from your F.Sc. textbook. You only need to pay attention to each sentence and grasp the concept of it. Cramming is no longer helpful to you.

4. What type of questions are usually asked?

A: In order to better understand the types of questions raised in ECAT, you should review past papers. Sometimes a large part comes from past papers.
